Sara Kearns (Editor) was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and
educated at the all women's Chatham College, where she was awarded
the Beatrice Lewis Memorial Writing Award in 1996. She has been
nomadic and has lived in Chicago, Hong Kong, New York, Providence,
and in Nanjing, in the People's Republic of China, where she taught
English to Chinese high-school students. She is currently working to
complete her first full-length collection, entitled Bare, and
her chapbook, Swim to Me, is awaiting publication. Her blog
